I was by no means an alcoholic, but drank more often than I thought I should. It was more of just a habit and "there was never enough". Trying to cut down never worked so I figured it was all or nothing. I read that book, followed what it said, quit drinking and never looked back. I never missed it at all and still don't.
I am hoping this book will do the same for me with food. Of course something in the process will be different since I can't go cold turkey with eating (no pun intended). The same time I stopped drinking I also started losing a lot of weight with Weight Watchers, but I have recently found that weight again!! :(
I will post again after I read the book and let you know how it is. What is your favorite weight loss book?

I would love to know how it goes for you. I have Dr. Phil's weight loss book but have yet to read it! I hate the weight I've gained but I'm pretty sure I have a pretty mean sugar addiction.
I will have to send my mother-in-law the link to this book since she is trying to lose some weight. She is thinking about joining weight watchers. Let us know how is works out!
Please keep us updated! I don't have a favorite weight loss book, but I find that Women's Health Magazine has tons of useful information, and fantastic workouts.
I definitely look forward to hearing how this works out for you. I've managed to maintain my weight for quite a few years now but had lots of problems in the past, I'm a binge eater. I lost all my excess weight on Weight Watchers twice, but it was watching my fat that got me thin and kept me that way.
Good luck with this. I would love to know how it works for you. blessings, sherry
