Taco Soup Recipe

A friend of mine gave this recipe to me over 10 years ago, and it is one of my favorites. It is so easy to make, and everyone likes it. You can double the recipe for larger groups of people. I am always asked for the recipe after people try it for the first time.

Taco Soup

I don't usually use all of the water it calls for and I don't drain the canned ingredients, but just put all the juices in.

1 lb. ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 can chopped tomatoes (with Jalepenos if you want it spicy)
1 can corn (Green Giant Mexican Corn is good)
1 can kidney beans
1 small can tomato sauce
1 ½ C water
1 pkg. taco seasoning
Tabasco and/or chili powder

Cook and season beef and onions in frying pan. Combine all ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve with grated cheese, sour cream, and Frito chips.

~ENJOY~
